Jujube Balls snack

JUJUBENATE Balls are not only delicious but also provide a nutritious blend of jujubes, walnuts, and chia seeds for a wholesome treat.


  • 1 cup dried jujubes, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Desiccated coconut (optional)


  • Combine chopped jujubes, walnuts, rolled oats, and chia seeds in a processor and pulse until the mixture becomes a coarse, crumbly texture.
  • Add honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mixture in the food processor. Pulse again until the mixture starts to come together.
  • The mixture should be sticky enough to form into balls, if needed, add a bit more honey or maple syrup and pulse again.
  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized energy balls and roll in coconut (optional).
  • Place the energy balls on a tray lined with baking paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
